At White Pointer Boats, we don’t build ordinary aluminium boats. Every hull is engineered around one core principle — delivering the best offshore ride possible.
Our signature compound curved hulls eliminate flat spots, manage water pressure efficiently, and absorb impact in rough seas. The result is a softer, safer, and more predictable ride that reduces fatigue and builds confidence on long offshore runs.
Designed and built in New Zealand to commercial standards, White Pointer Boats represent strength, refinement, and performance without compromise.
At White Pointer Boats, we don’t build ordinary aluminium boats.
Every hull is engineered to deliver the best offshore ride possible.
At White Pointer, we’ve never believed in building ordinary boats. Our hulls are different — and that difference is everything when you’re out on the water.
The foundation of every White Pointer is our compound curved hull form. Unlike flat or simply angled designs, our rigid bottoms are shaped under immense tension, creating curves and rounded forms in all directions. This means there are no flat spots in front of the monohedral planing section, where hull performance is most critical. Even behind the planing section, the curves continue, so the hull is constantly working with the water.
The effect? Instead of slapping or banging like conventional hulls, a White Pointer hull forces and squeezes water out from underneath on impact. Pressure has nowhere to get trapped because there are no flat surfaces to hold it. The result is a ride that feels almost like a sponge soaking up the sea — soft, controlled, and unbelievably comfortable, even in rough conditions or on long offshore runs.
But achieving this performance doesn’t come easy. These hulls are labour intensive to build — taking anywhere from 90 to 200 hours just to get one off the jig, depending on the size of the boat. Every curve, every weld, every angle is carefully crafted by our skilled team, with no shortcuts taken.
That’s why White Pointer is different. We don’t just build boats; we pour pride, precision, and decades of experience into every hull. Our commitment to this process ensures that when you own a White Pointer, you’re not just getting a vessel — you’re getting the most exceptional ride on the market.
Of course, words can only go so far. The only way to truly understand the White Pointer difference is to experience it for yourself. We take pride in offering test rides with potential customers, because nothing proves what we’re explaining better than feeling it first-hand.

The foundation of every White Pointer boat is our proprietary compound curved hull design. Unlike flat‑bottom or simply angled hulls, our hulls are formed under immense tension, creating continuous curves and rounded geometry in all directions.
This design eliminates flat spots ahead of the monohedral planing section — the most critical area for ride performance. Even behind the planing section, the curves continue, ensuring the hull is constantly working with the water rather than slapping against it.
When a conventional hull meets a wave, pressure becomes trapped beneath flat surfaces, causing impact and vibration. A White Pointer hull works differently.
On impact, water is actively forced out from beneath the hull, with no flat areas to trap pressure. Energy is dispersed smoothly, creating a ride many owners describe as soaking up the sea.
The result is exceptional comfort, predictable handling, and confidence‑inspiring performance — even in rough offshore conditions.
True performance doesn’t come from shortcuts.
Depending on size, each White Pointer hull requires 90 to 200 hours just to come off the jig.
Every curve, weld, and structural detail is shaped by skilled aluminium boat builders who understand that precision matters.
This labour‑intensive process is exactly why our hulls perform the way they do — and why White Pointer boats stand apart in the offshore aluminium boat market.
White Pointer Boats began by designing and building commercial vessels for demanding local
port conditions. That commercial heritage remains at the core of everything we build today.
For over 30 years, our vessels have been constructed to a commercial‑grade standard
aligned with Lloyd’s SSC (Special Service Craft) — one of the most respected marine
classifications worldwide.
We continue to build certified commercial craft to this standard, and every recreational White Pointer benefits from the same engineering philosophy:
● Stronger hull structures
● Proven offshore integrity
● Exceptional build quality
● Long‑term durability
This ensures your White Pointer isn’t just built to look impressive at the ramp — it’s built to perform offshore, year after year.
